Woman who killed beau arrested twice in 1 wk in Anderson Co.
An Anderson County woman who killed her boyfriend in February 2006 was arrested twice in less than a week, according to the Oak Ridger.

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- An Anderson County woman who killed her boyfriend in February 2006 was arrested twice in less than a week, according to the Oak Ridger.

The paper reports that Mary Ellen Weaver, 33, of Clinton, was arrested on drug charges on Oct. 21, then she was picked up again on Oct. 27 on a probation violation resulting from the Oct. 21 drug charge. She posted a $50,000 bond after each arrest, and is currently out of jail.

Weaver killed her then-boyfriend, Joseph G. Robbins, 30, of Clinton, with a 12-gauge shotgun blast, according the Oak Ridger. She pleaded guilty to volunteary manslaughter in May 2008, the paper reports.
