We all knew Tennessee was the best place to live, now a new list by Forbes Magazine says it too. It's called, "America's Best Bang for the Buck Cities. The criteria includes rankings of housing affordability, real estate taxes, unemployment, job forecasting, and home price forecast rankings. Forbes looked at the  country's top 100 largest metropolitan statistical area. How Forbes came up with the forecast could take up more space than this blog allows, but it does show how we fair in our cities versus others around the country. For starters, the state of Tennessee had all it's cities in 58th or better. The Nashville/Davidson/Murphreesboro/Franklin area was 58th, followed by Memphis at 35th, Knoxville was 22nd and Chattanooga was as high as 8th.

The top city  was Omaha, Nebraska, the 100th was Los Angeles. We do live in one of the best areas of the country, and it's getting even better. I was at an event this past Sunday and over heard some realtors talking who said  many of their clients weren't in the market for a house just yet, but just wanted to take a tour of East Tennessee. They just wanted look around on the premise they were going to retire here. So what do you think about the rankings? You see for yourself at
