The announcement last week that the University of Tennessee is closing the Golf Range and Sutherland apartments in 2010, brings with it remembrances of years past in that area. I did a story a couple of years ago on the Pond Gap Neighborhood Association and their aggressive approach to preserving the area. Like many neighborhoods they change and evolve, but not necessarily for the good of preserving the past. Pond Gap neighbors have a vivid view of what they want to preserve and I commend them for that. (Read Blog)
