ARE YOU THERE?

Isn't that one of the most annoying things to have to say on a cell phone? "Are you there?" It seems to be a question we all say from time to time. But isn't it also annoying to hear other people say it? Over and over and over again. But it's even more annoying when it's in a yelling voice. So how do your cell phone manners stack up? Do you tend to talk loud, or do you tone it down in public places? If your phone rings during dinner, do you answer it? July is National Cell Phone Courtesy Month and it's dedicated to help educate the public about wireless phone etiquette. What are your biggest cell phone pet peeves? Mine would have to be when people are on their cell phones while driving a car and they don't use their turn signals or lose all sense of where they are and seem to be very confused. Just hang up the phone for a minute! Haha. Here are a couple links to see if you're annoying or courteous on your cell. Let us know how you did!

Etiquette Quiz

How is your etiquette?

Yea Candance!

The Espy's are just around the corner. One very famous East Tennessee Athlete is up for 2 awards! Can you guess who it is? Yep. Candance Parker. She's nominated for Best Female Athlete and Best Female College Athlete. The Lady Vols are also nominated for Best Team. We're pretty lucky here in East Tennessee to have the chance to experience not only Candace Parker, but the entire Lady Vols team and Coach Summitt. You can vote through Saturday night. Let's get those votes in huh?

See you in the morning,

Allison

Posted by: Victor My pet-peeve on the cell phone is both parties talking at the same time. The minor delay can reek havoc on a convo. When this happens I just start talking louder than the other person so as to be a sign for him/her to STOP talking! I wish the Lady Vols much luck! Pat Summitt is running a machine on The Hill!
