With nearly half of Knox County's elementary and middle schools under the threat of being targeted by the state, do you think the standards set by the No Child Left Behind Act are too difficult for schools to meet?

Posted by: Lisa Location: Knoxville Yes they are attainable. Look we have some really great teachers in Knox county and then we some that really shouldn't be teachers at all. These teachers who work hard, stay after and help students who want to learn, those are the ones we need to keep. I think teachers should be switched around so that they don't get to compfortable in their jobs. It keeps them on their toes as well. Everyone should have to teach in an inner city for a least a year. That you understand the challenges that teachers there face. No Child Left Behind is a good program that is trying to take care of the children.
