The worst that they could do to the people accused in killing the young couple is not good enough. No one deserves to suffer like they did. They should suffer as much.

i cant get this story out of my mind. i think of what these kids went through, and it makes me disgusted. eye for an eye situation . with one extra detail . put them on public display and hang them.................

Thank you, WLVT, for your story recalling the horrific, unspeakable crimes against Christopher Newsom and Channon Christian. We cannot even imagine how their families are coping, and we pray for them often. Most of the other local media and essentially all of the national media have done their best to ignore this atrocity – the most savage, inhuman, and brutal in our memories.

i am so sick of people saying that its cruel to use lethal injections. i think that a convicted crimmanal that commited murder should have no say so in how he is put to death. do they ever think of the pain that they put on thier victim they deserve to be put to death actually thats to good for them, let them suffer like thier victims did

biggest 2007 story is not even close. having lived in knoxville since 1963 - i don't ever remember a crime worse than the one committed by these savages. i'm relieved to at least see the first death notice announced. this crime is what the death penalty was created for.
