Yes-if he doesn't, try not paying him!!! That usually works pretty good. Posted by: Susan Location: Knoxville ABSOLUTELY.. I DON'T CARE IF IT HAPPENED BEFORE HE WAS ELECTED. HE KNEW HE WAS STEALING AND STILL RAN FOR OFFICE. HE'S COMPLETELY ARROGANT. TYPICAL OF A POLITICIAN. THIS STINKS. I FEEL SORRY FOR HIS FAMILY. HE'S EMBARRASSED THEM AND HIMSELF AND HE IS A COMPLETE FRAUD. Posted by: Pam Location: Oak Ridge If it would have been Jane Doe clerk at a store, she would have been place under arrest as soon as she would have admitted this. Once again, this shows a poor light upon Knox County politics. Lockett should have been arrested as soon as he admitted to this. Posted by: Joyce Location: Loudon, TN I am outraged that an elected official should commit such an act. I am even more outraged that he refuses to resign, and I am even more outraged that some County officials have not taken a firm, immediate stance against him. What he did is 100% wrong, regardless of his son's illness. He had a good job with a good salary. If he can't pay for his son's medical expenses, what about all the millions of people without a good job or health benefits. There is no excuse for what he did. The fact that anyone would not consider this an intollerable situation shows the moral decline of our society. |
