Hey Friends,

I must say I have some very observant viewers and I appreciate you very much!  Many of you have written asking why I had two of my fingers bandaged for the past week. I've tried to keep them hidden and I know that's normally not me .. because I talk about everything .. but considering time limitations on air we really didn't get into it on air last week and Bob is out for this week.

So before I go any further .. f you didn't read my blog last Tuesday then before you go ANY further .. go read it .. then come back.

Now .. here we go. 

I was in a car accident on Tuesday .. yup April 1, 2008 .. just hours after writing that blog about my accident on April 1, 1998.  On the 10 year anniversary of the wreck that I send the day reflecting on .. I wrecked.  Nothing serious at all and yes I am perfectly okay .. the airbag went off and ended up fracturing a couple of my fingers. Which shouldn't have happened. We can't even really figure out why the airbag went off, but I'm grateful that is all that happened.  My face got a bit burned the last time an airbag hit it. The swelling in my fingers is gone, bruises are fading and I've taken those horrible splints off .. however the constant though of the event won't escape my head.  Seriously .. the second this accident happened .. my thoughts turned to 10 years ago ... and I"ve kind of been stuck s
No need to go into any details .. but we'll just say it wasn't the best of days!  I had to sink or swim though. I had to take something out of it or my mind was going to explode with the "whys" and so I'm going with it's nothing but pure coincidence .. it has to be, right?

I'm going through alot of life changes right now .. some good, some indifferent .. so I have to make sure I don't see this as some "sign" .. don't you hate when we do that .. however sometimes it is a sign .. other times we just think so.

This is NO late April fool's joke .. when I told my sister she said .. ahhhh, April Fools, right?   Ha, Ha, I wish it was.

So no worries ... I'm good ... just as I said ... left a little thoughtful.

On the flip side .. look at all these gorgeous days we are having! I love spring! 

Also I want to thank each of you that has read about  the announcement of the move.  It looks like it's all affective next week. I am off mornings here on WVLT, but I will remain on with Bob at Noon and will be adding the shows of 4:00, and the 5:30 hour.  I get THREE news husbands now instead of just one .. come on Bob .. don't be all jealous!!

Thanks for your sweet emails of congrats!  I promise that I"ll catch up on writing back and get back to each of you that emailed. ( trying to type with those finger splints on,  I would get one email done for every five I could do before). 

So a little silver lining on my cloud I guess you could say, ha.  None the less, It's a good move in my life right now and I look forward to a full nights sleep again!  More to come on the new schedule in the future! In the meantime .. please .. be safe out there!!!
