Hello Friends,

Please don't throw things at me, haha, I know it's been a couple of months since I've blogged and I APOLOGIZE!!  I do however have a  great excuse and that is that there has been ZERO time for blogging for me since I made the switch to a new schedule here at WVLT.

The very little time I had in the afternoon between shows has been spent going into the field and reporting, but now  that we have some reporters back in the swing of things I am hoping that I can have more time to get back into the blogging world instead. I miss it so much!! I miss writing and even more hearing from everyone.   Up until this week I was reporting every single day in addition to the shows I now co-anchor (for those of you not around in the afternoons that would be Volunteer TV News at Noon, First at Four, and Volunteer TV News at 5:30 and 6:00) .. so hopefully starting today I will be back discussing anything from news of the day, to my life, my plans, charities and love for cats of course .. haha :)

What has been going on for me?  Well really just adjusting to a new work schedule.  I really enjoy not getting up at 3am .. but I have to tell you I'm not sure I'm getting anymore sleep?  Once a night owl .. always a night owl .. I guess??  I am working on it though!  I have found it hard to juggle life.  I have never been on a "normal" schedule. It's always been mornings, evenings or overnights.  So things like making doctor or dentists appointments, getting to stores that close at 6:00, taking or picking up dry cleaning .. all that has become a challenge!  I usually keep my fingers crossed for a lunch break ... otherwise that to-do list keeps building!!

Other than that life couldn't be better for me.  I am very sad that my best friend Natalie (who was our first at four producer) took on bigger and better things and took a morning producing job in St. Louis.  So the newsroom is a little empty for me now!  I welcome our new 4:00 producer that is now in her seat, Meredith.  She does a wonderful job.  I'm having to adjust from keeping Bob in line to now Mark .. boy is that a challenge!!  I laugh that I went from being a single news wife of ONE (that being Bob) .. to now having THREE NEWS HUSBANDS (Bob, Mark and Allen) .. haha .. oooohhh I'm a luck girl!!!!
