Hello Friends, Thank you all so much for your sweet e-mails and phone calls about me leaving WVLT. I guess you read about it on friend Frank Murphy's blog, maybe Terry Morrow's web page, or heard about it on the radio. Maybe you simply heard it from the grapevine. I know, I know, this could be a great April Fool's Day joke! My boss and I even cut up about that when I told him I was leaving, but this is not a joke. After 4 1/2 years at WVLT and 6 1/2 with the company I am moving on. This wasn't an "easy" decision and everything sort of fell in my lap so very quickly. I feel like I'm in some sort of whirlwind right now. Buying a place in Nashville, selling my place here in Knoxville, telling everyone "good-bye", researching and planning for a new job, downsizing to move, etc. But God opened a door for me that I know is going to be glorious and I am very grateful!! I am heading a couple hundred miles west to Nashville. This is a huge professional jump for me and personally the move I want and need to make in my life. I will be joining the team at Fox and thankfully will have some familiar faces to greet me. I will join my former co-worker Craig Edwards, that will be really nice! I am so excited about my new job. It's different than what I currently do here at WVLT but I couldn't imagine myself happier. I will be the new Entertainment Reporter there at Fox! How fun will that be?! Maybe I'll FINALLY fet to interview Dolly in person?! Make sure and log on to the Fox17 web page in a few weeks and see what I'm up to. You can also find and follow me on twitter. I really would love to hear from people at "home". I'm sure that no matter how excited I am I will be a little "home sick". Just wanted to give you all the info since it's out there. No "good-bye" just yet. I'll save that for next week. Blessings to you all, |

Everyone is so nice, and truly acts like they care. I have missed Craig as well. Well, I do come to Nashville for concerts, so I will check you out there. If you interview Kenny Chesney, tell him I loved in concert in Nashville last year, sandbar tickets are awesome, but he needs to come to Knoxville SOON. Well Stacy, goodluck on your new adventure, it sounds like great fun. But as you leave know that you will be greatly missed. Posted by: Pam Location: Valrico, Florida Stacy, you go where your wings have taken you. You know you had a special person with to help with this great employment opportunity, one of our (BEST FRIENDS), Granny. Take those wings you have been given and soar to the highest. I said I could see you in Entertainment some how, even on Entertainment Tonight. I am sooo happy for you. For those of you who never met Stacy, she is awesome, Stacy is Stacy, She is the same in person as she is on TV, I am not saying that because she is my Cousin,, but because its true. Best wishes on your new adventure, and keep climbing, you haven't reached the top yet. I Love you. Pam Posted by: cindy Location: Crossville Best of luck in your career change.
