Here comes another weekend of wild weather swings. A snow storm is missing us to the north, but it will be close enough to give us another shot of cold Canadian air... AGAIN !

South winds increase through the day Saturday with a pretty good start to the weekend. We'll warm up to the low 50's, and that is better than we have been for a few days. So, not too bad Saturday (day).

Then, the showers develop during the evening and for Saturday night. After midnight, the gusty winds will switch to the northwest, and cold air will blast in overnight. Any rain left in the area in the early morning hours Sunday will quickly switch to snow showers with the possibility of a few slick spots on Sunday morning. We'll see our temperatures fall into the mid 20's by Sunday morning. Watch out !

There could be an inch or two of snow above Jellico TN, into Kentucky, and in the mountains of Tennessee along the North Carolina border. We could even get a dusting of snow in the Knoxville area.

Sunday is going to be another blustery cold winter day. Guess what ?? A week from Sunday is March the 1st, it sure is !
