Did you see Alan's Tennessee Traveler Monday night? If you missed it, it's right here on our web channel. It's about former Three Dog Night drummer Micheal McMeel who lives in New Tazewell. Alan's story brought back a flood of memories of TDN tunes. In fact, I wasn't far from where Michael now lives when I heard my first TDN song on the radio. It was 40 years ago in the Spring of 1969 when I heard "One" on WLS as the Big 89 roared into East Tennessee that April night.
