PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Sevierville man accused of robbing a Pigeon Forge furniture store Friday continues to evade authorities.

Deputies in Sevier and Blount counties say Phillip Hammock, 37, led deputies on a two-county chase that sparked an elementary school lockdown and a manhunt after Hammock rammed a stolen truck into a Townsend cabin.

Deputies in both counties indicate that there is no active search for Hammock underway.

However, Blount County Sheriff's spokesperson Marian O'Briant says deputies are acting on tips from the public.

Sevier County Sheriff's deputies say warrants have been issued for Hammock's arrest, and he'll face charges once taken into custody.
