ALCOA, Tenn. (WVLT)- A routine traffic stop leads to a wanted man running from police officers.

Alcoa Police are looking for a guy with a lengthy criminal history.

Police say Rayford Rivers ran from officers when they stopped his car on West Hunt Road around four o'clock Monday afternoon.

Rivers took off. He's wanted on several warrants out of Blount County, including aggravated assault and fleeing, and has a long criminal history in Knox County.

He will face more charges for running from officers, and he could face charges from McGhee Tyson Airport.
