MARYVILLE,Tenn.(WVLT)--The owners of Colonial Hills Nursing home tell Local 8 News they want to reopen their doors again.

The President of the Cleveland, Tennessee based Life Care Centers of America told Local 8 News, "Preliminary sketches are being drawn for the remodeling of the building, and a certificate-of-need package will be prepared for submission to the Tennessee Department of Health".

Beecher Hunter says the renovation will run near $15 million dollars.

Colonial Hills was notified in December 2011 by Medicare and Medicaid they were terminating their services.

One hundred of the estimated 164 residents were moved to other facilities.

Colonial Hills should reopen in 2013.
