LOUISVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- A Blount County family was forced from their home after a fire Sunday morning.

Investigators say it started in the basement and spread through other parts of the home on Topside Road in Louisville.

Most of the damage was contained to the basement.

The home's fire alarm went off- alerting the family to the danger.

Everyone was able to get out safely.
