Two restaurants failed their inspection and one received a low score this week from the Knox County Health Department, in our look behind the kitchen door.

Cracker Barrel, 9214 Park West Boulevard, score: 55

There was catfish at potentially hazardous temperature, spoiled bananas in use, employee handled food containers after touching dirty surface without washing their hands. unlabeled white powder and the floors and equipment dirty.

The other failed restaurant is Jumbo Buffet, 7430 Chapman Highway, score: 64

Inspectors found large pans of raw shrimp and chicken stored under the dish sink and fruit salad on the bar at potentially hazardous temperature. pesticide stored with cleaning chemicals. floors, walls, equipment and the ice cream freezer dirty.

The low score is Quizno's, 7220 Chapman Highway, score: 71

There were rotten tomatoes on the shelf, toxic chemicals stored with food gloves. clean utensils stored on dirty racks. prep floor and counter dirty.

Now for the good news: We have eight restaurants that scored ninety and above this week.

Chick-Fil-A, 800 Gay Street, score: 90

Petro's Chili and Chips, Knoxville Center; I Love New York Pizza, 6518 Chapman Highway; and Garrett's Downtown Deli, 800 Gay Street
all scored: 91

Papa Murphy's Take and Bake Pizza, 4409 Chapman Highway; El Charro 10420 Kingston Pike; and Zhu Garden, 120 South Peters Road
all scored: 93

T K Cafe, 10415 Parkside Drive, score: 95
