There is more good news than bad in the Knoxville dining world this week.
We have two restaurants that failed their inspections from the Knox County Health Department his week in our look behind the kitchen door.
Panera Bread, 205 Peters Road, score: 49
There were spoiled strawberries stored with tomatoes, other food at potentially hazardous temperature, flies present in the restaurant, floors and equipment dirty.
Applebee's, 2916 Knoxville Center Drive, score: 67
There was cellophane in the wing sauce, dirty water in the sanitizing bucket, wastewater leaking onto floor, dirty drink taps on soda machine, and the floors dirty.
Now for the good news we have ten restaurants that scored 90 and above this week.
Wendy's, 2904 Knoxville Center Drive, and Chick-Fil-A, 6564 Clinton Highway and El Mezcal, 118 Forest Park Blvd. all scored 90.
