Hola! Knoxville Festival: A celebration of diversity and a cultural salute to our East Tennessee community, will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2008 in Market Square from 11:00 to 8:00. Known for its rich mix of music, dance, food, arts, and crafts, the festival also features its unique Parade of Nations. This visual treat highlights the varied and colorful costumes of Spain and Latin America. This year, our musical performances will include Salsa, music of the Andes and a Mariachi Trio. There will be many activities for the kids, including a "passport" to "travel" through Heritage Tables, where they will receive flag stickers to put on their passport. Come dance, eat, learn and have fun!
