KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Kodak man was charged with Discharging a Firearm within the City after accidentally shooting himself in the hand at a gun show late last month.
Sixty-four year-old William Adams was cited for discharging his personal Kimber .45 semi-automatic handgun while showing it to a customer at the January 29th show, according to the Knoxville Police Dept. The magazine was removed from the gun, which was his personal conceal weapon, but one round was still in the chamber.
Those who work at the show said Adams violated the rules by bringing a loaded gun to the show.
