KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Fire damaged a house recently listed as under foreclosure at 2615 Vucrest Saturday morning and the Knoxville Fire Dept. is calling it suspicious.
A neighbor reported the fire around 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning and firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the basement of the house and spreading to the main level.
The house was listed online as for sale and under foreclosure.
In a release, the Knoxville Fire Dept. is calling the fire suspicious because no one lives at the house currently and there are no utilities to it.
