Knoxville (WVLT) – Officials with the Knox County Election Commission are strongly encouraging voters to review a sample ballot before heading to the polls.
That’s because the Knox County Ballot has many long and complicated charter amendments for both the county and the City of Knoxville.
Officials say it could mean a difference of 15-20 minutes per voter.
And with the large turn out for today's election, that can quickly add up.
You can check out a sample ballot, find your voting precinct and learn what you need to bring with you to the polls on the Knox County Election Commission's website, www.knoxvotes.org.
