Knoxville (WVLT) -- Many teens hear the popular name Miley Cyrus and automatically think of Hannah Montana.

Most parents hear the Disney star's name and it means big bucks.

Her concert tickets have gone for outrageous amounts of money and now there's a new Hannah Montana show coming to town.

It’s a 3-D movie of her sold out "Best of Both Worlds" concert tour.

It wasn't long ago that Montana/Cyrus made headlines after her concert tickets sold for hundreds and thousands of dollars.

Sharon Daniel and her daughter Blakely made sure they were there.

"We gruelled and gruelled over tickets and finally got 9th row seats," said Daniel.

Daniel still remembers her own teen years and her idols, so she shelled out big bucks for her daughter to see the teeny bopper.

"We did pay an arm and a leg for them," she said.

Miley thrilled many ‘tweens and left others wanting more.

"Everyone's obsessed with Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers," said Rachel McCauley, a proud Hannah Montana fan.

Now she's back for a week and this time in a 3-D movie at Regal Cinemas.

“It will be fun to touch her and stuff," said Blakely Daniel.

But like the concerts, some parents are upset about the cost of the movie tickets.

They think the $15 price tag is too high, especially when normal 3-D movies are only $10.75.

Among them is Sandra Rowcliff who refused to pay hundreds of dollars for Hannah Montana's first show, but she did give in this time, buying 7 tickets to the cinema show for $119 dollars.

“It's a steep price, but we figure $119 is better than what the concert tickets were," Rowcliff said.

For those who paid big bucks for the live concert, the movie price is a welcome change.

As of Thursday, the 3-D movie was not sold out.

It's playing at the Regal Pinnacle 18 in Turkey Creek, February 1st through the 7th.

There will be 2 showings each day.
