The Ronald McDonald House of Knoxville provides a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. The house provides a comfortable, supportive, temporary residence near the medical facility where family members can sleep, eat, relax and find support from other families in similar situations.

You can help "the house that love built" in two ways this November when you head out to Neyland Stadium to cheer on the University of Tennessee football team.

First, on Nov. 7th, you can purchase an orange coozie from the AD Pi Soroity. The coozies cost $5. Just be on the look out around Gate 21 at the stadium.

Secondly, on Nov. 21, you can go to AD Pi's "Turkey Tailgate." The fun starts 3 hours before kickoff at Fiji Island (in front of Fraternity Row on Volunteer Ave.) . Tickets are $7 each. There will be bluegrass music, plenty of games and activities, a silent auction, and lots of terrific food.

The proceeds from both events will go to Knoxville's Ronald McDonald House on Clinch Ave.

The Ronald McDonald House is also looking for volunteers and will accept donations. To learn how you can help the Ronald McDonald House year round, call (865) 637-7475, or you can click on the link below.
