Knoxville (WVLT) - March is National Nutrition Month, and Allison Hunt was live at UT Medical Center with some helpful tips from the American Dietetic Association on how to eat right.
With more than 67,000 members, the American Dietetic Association is the nation's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals.
ADA serves the public by promoting optimal nutrition, health and well-being.
ADA members are the nation's food and nutrition experts, translating the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living.
National Nutrition Month is a nutrition education and information campaign created by the American Dietetic Association.
The campaign is designed to focus attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits.
National Nutrition Month also promotes American Dietetic Association and its members to the public and the media as the most valuable and credible source of timely, scientifically-based food and nutrition information.
