(WVLT) - Friday on East Tennessee This Morning, Allison Hunt was live at the Cedar Bluff Racquet Club, talking about a great charity and learning how to hit a tennis ball or two.
The 14th annual Labor of Love Tennis Classic Tournament will benefit nursing excellence, which will help provide nurses with the tools and education needed to provide high, quality, compassionate patient care.
The money raised will encourage and empower nurses in their essential role, promotes high standards, a sense of professional responsibility to patients and exceptional care. Excellence in nursing further advances the mission of the newly formed Mercy Health Partners.
As Allison said Friday morning, they still need people to participate! The event starts at 9 a.m. May 3rd, at the Cedar Bluff Racquet Club. In addition, all players and sponsors are invited to the Friday night pre-tournament party on May 2nd.
