(WVLT) - Monday on East Tennessee This Morning, Allison Hunt was live with our friends at the Knoxville Zoo as they prepared all the daily meals for all the zoo's animals.

Allison got to watch as the zoo's chefs prepared fruits, vegetables, and meat for the smallest critters to the largest lions at the establishment.

Also, Allison talked about a new event coming up on May 17th called Touch-A-Truck. It's an event where guests get the opportunity to have an up-close view of rescue and emergency vehicles, construction equipment and meet the unique drivers, personel, or operators of each.

The event is during regular zoo hours, 9:30am-6pm, and is free with standard admission.
