(WVLT) - We are just weeks away from Christmas and many of you will start decorating soon. If a real tree is part of your family tradition, there are some things you should know before you pick one up.
Tuesday on East Tennessee This Morning, Allison Hunt was live at T-n-T Tree Farm to get some tips from the experts.
Doug Tolliver with T-n-T says the process starts before you leave your house. He says to make sure you know where you want to put your tree, so you know what size to buy. Once you head out to buy your tree, inspect the needles to make sure the tree is healthy. Finally, Tolliver says to water your tree every day to keep it green and healthy through Christmas.
