KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) When Mason Parrett got in line with his mother for his brand new computer he thought just one thing.

"Holy crap!" said Parrett.

But the Parrett's were just two in a group of hundreds waiting outside the Apple store at West Town Mall to buy new computer or pick up their reserved one.

"I'm waiting in line to get my new Mac Book Pro that I've been waiting for since Christmas, uh cause I'm going to college next week. U.T.K., so I'm really excited," said Olivia Crowe.

Apple waited on their patient customers by offering bottled water. The longest wait - three hours but lines were even longer than that this morning. Some people took the time to catch up on phone calls - read a book or even relax.

"You know I think you just gotta have a fun game to play. You know while your in line you just gotta play the name game and go with it," said Will Webb.

But with the Sales Tax Holiday many say they'll be saving over a hundred dollars and to them the wait is worth it.

"I guess if you've been to Disneyland you know what it's like. It's just been getting longer and longer," said Ana Reboredosegovia.
