KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)--A Knoxville bride's dreams of a beach wedding were washed away after the gulf oil spill.
But thanks to local businesses, an East Tennessee couple received a fairytale wedding in the mountains.
We were there for the sunset ceremony Saturday and wanted to show you the generosity shared with the couple.
Rachel Bethmann walked down the stone steps at the vineyards of Castleton Farms for a fairytale wedding.

Rachel Bethmann says, "It's beautiful. I'm so excited to be getting married."
Castleton is far from the Gulf Coast where she originally planned her wedding.
After the oil spill, the UT graduates took their nuptials north with the help of vendors.
Darla Walker, the Castleton Farms executive director, says, "We went to our vendors and said what can we do for our vendors. She's on a very limited budget."

The vendors rallied for these Knoxville natives, putting on a vineyard themed wedding complete with full catering, a designer cake, fresh flowers, and exquisite decorations.
Bethmann says, "It leaves me speechless. Honestly there are such good people in the world who are willing to help me out."

Paid deposits washed away with the dreams of a beach wedding, but everything came together for the bride and groom.
Aaron Clark says, "It means the world to me that she gets what she wants. It hurt me at first she wasn't going to get the wedding she planned on but this is just as good."

Something that normally takes a year to plan, pulled together in only weeks.
Walker says, "We pulled together we built a time line and we made it happen."

Aaron Clark says, "I've always loved East Tennessee the people here will always do anything for you."

Duped? Being that I was one of those vendors, I have to ask what you mean, duped...

They shouldn't have pulled the plug on the FL wedding. There's not a reason in the world that they could not have been married anywhere on FL's gulf coast. Seems as if these vendors that jumped in to help were duped. Not to mention their guests who lost money on flights, etc.
