NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate Fred Thompson is in his home state on a fundraising run.
Thompson had events booked in Clarksville, Murfreesboro and Franklin. He was also scheduled to raise money in Jackson, Memphis and Drew, Mississippi, on Friday.
The former Tennessee Senator is then scheduled to head for a stop in Wyoming before spending most of next week campaigning in Iowa.
Thompson's only public event in Tennessee so far has been a rally in his hometown of Lawrenceburg earlier this month
