Wreck on I-40 causes major traffic detour
A serious car wreck has shut down part of I-40 in Roane County, causing a traffic detour.

ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)- A serious car wreck has shut down part of I-40 in Roane County causing a traffic detour.
According to THP, around 6:25 this morning, there was a single car heading westbound that crashed just west of the Buttermilk Road exit.
Video from the scene shows one vehicle off the highway, with heavy damage.
Motorists are being detoured off I-40 onto Highway 95, then onto Highway 58 while troopers continue to work the scene.
