Chattanooga (WVLT) -- Earlier this afternoon, Sen. Bob Corker released a statement about the assassination of Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto.
This evening, Congressman Zach Wamp has followed the lead and released his own statement.
"I am deeply saddened and concerned to hear of the death of my friend Benazir Bhutto, who was trying at great personal risk to save her country of Pakistan from the threat of radicalism. As her family and her supporters mourn her loss, my hope is that President Pervez Musharraf will move toward real reform and true democratic government."
Bhutto was killed at an election rally early this morning when a man opened fire on the SUV she was riding in, before blowing himself up.

My heart goes out to the struggle of change that needs to be implemented. Benizar Bhutto courage and knowledge to stand up against this at all cost should be a catalyst to well up the populos and realize that the fear is the only thing holding back that change that needs to be in order to have a free society with growth and oppurtunity for all.
