LYNCHBURG, Tenn. (AP) -- A Moore County grand jury has indicted a Goodlettsville man on charges of illegally possessing and selling about $1 million worth of Jack Daniel's whiskey.
Officials seized 2,400 bottles last October during raids in Nashville and Lynchburg, the town where the whiskey is distilled. The cache included antique bottles -- one dating back to 1914.
Court Clerk Trixie Harrison says a grand jury indicted Randy Piper on Friday on four counts related to the illegal possession, transportation and storage of the liquor.
The 47-year-old is out of jail on $25,000 bond.
The state's Alcoholic Beverage Commission has said state law may require it to pour some of the whiskey down the drain.
