SEVIERVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- A Sevier County Jail kitchen supervisor resigns today just days after a civil suit is filed alleging he had sexual relations with an inmate.
In an exclusive phone interview, Paul Lintner told WVLT-TV's Stephen McLamb he felt it was in his best interest to resign for health reasons.
Lintner, a convicted felon, also came under fire in recent weeks for his five hundred dollar campaign contribution to Sheriff Ron Seals.
Lintner said he cannot comment further due to the ongoing suit.

Lintner was not just "kitchen help." He received much training at the expense of the citizens of Sevier County: http://www.seviercorruption.com/resources/Lintnertraining.PDF He also purchased a bunch of BBQ. Sheriff Seals had BBQ at his campaign events. I bet the inmates didn't eat any BBQ ribs. http://www.seviercorruption.com/resources/RibsatJail.PDF
