Knoxville Police investigating two overnight stabbings Save Email Print

Knoxville (WVLT) - Two people are in the hospital after multiple stabbings in South Knoxville.

Police say just before 11:00 p.m.they responded to a stabbing call at 1212 Cook Drive in South Knoxville.

When they arrived, officers found one victim who had been stabbed several times after a knife fight with some other women.

She was taken to a local hospital with what police say are non-life threatening injuries.

Then about 30 minutes later, and not even a half mile away, police repsonded to 1101 Maryville Pike where a woman had been stabbed earlier in the night.

She was also taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Police say one person has been taken in for questioning but they are not facing charges at this time.
