Knox Co. teen charged with murder, gives birth

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- A Solway teen, charged in the killing of her father and stepmother has given birth to a baby girl.
Richard Bean confirms Amanda McGhee, 16, was taken to the hospital on March 14th, where she gave birth. The baby was placed in custody of the Department of Children's Services, and McGhee was returned to the Richard L. Bean Juvenile Service Center.
The man who McGhee says is the father, Andrew Mann, 22, is also charged with McGhee in the shooting deaths of Terrance and Alisa McGhee in their Solway home last June.
Both will face charges in adult court.
A third man, Christopher Kirkland is also charged in the murders. Deputies say be knew about the murder plan but did nothing to stop it.
