SEALE, Ala. (AP) -- Two men killed in an east Alabama plane crash have been identified as residents of Tennessee.
Russell County, Ala., Coroner Arthur Sumbry says the victims in Monday's crash were 63-year-old Robert W. Lloyd of Franklin and 64-year-old Hamilton Cartwright Jr. of Old Hickory.
The single-engine plane was on a flight out of Lebanon, Tenn., when it dropped off the radar. It was discovered about five hours later in what officials described as a swampy and inaccessible area.
Federal officials are still investigating the accident.
