James White Pkwy ramp to I-40 west opens two weeks early
East Tennessee drivers can once again get onto I-40 westbound from northbound James White Parkway.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- East Tennessee drivers can once again get onto I-40 westbound from northbound James White Parkway.
TDOT says were able to devise a plan to finish a temporary one-lane ramp two weeks ahead of schedule, according to a TDOT press release.
The temporary ramp will be used until a permanent ramp can be built.
