Bank robbery in Northeast Knox County
Dispatchers say the First Choice Community Credit Union, 9440 Mascot Rd., in Mascot was robbed Wednesday afternoon.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Dispatchers say the First Choice Community Credit Union, 9440 Mascot Rd., in Mascot was robbed Wednesday afternoon.
Reports from the scene indicate that a 6-foot-tall, thin white man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt walked into the bank and brandished a long, thin-bladed knife.
He was seen getting into the passenger side of a dirty, white 90s-model minivan. A second individual was driving the van.
