SWEETWATER, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Loudon County man working in a Sweetwater nursing home was stabbed Thursday morning as he carried trash to a dumpster.
The Sweetwater Police Department says says James Justin, 39, of Loudon County, and James R. McCulloch, 30, of Sweetwater, were involved in a dispute over a female.
Police say McCulloch had repeatedly entered Wood Nursing Home Thursday morning looking for Justin.
Witnesses told police that McCulloch jumped out of a car and attacked Justin around 9:45 a.m. as Justin was carrying trash to a dumpster.
McCulluch was arrested at his mother's house and charged with Aggravated Assault. He's being held without bond.
Justin was taken to UT Medical Center where he's been treated and released.
