CLINTON, Tenn. (WVLT) -- After months of work, an undercover drug bust operation run by Anderson County Sheriff's Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation ended Friday.
A grand jury has indicted 36 people on 60 charges. That allows the sheriff's department to serve warrants to the indicted individuals.
The sweep will continue throughout the evening to serve warrants and arrest as many suspects as possible.
All those indicted either allegedly sold drugs to undercover agents or were allegedly in possession of illegal drugs for sale.
Of the 60 charges charges, 15 were for the sale and possession of Oxycontin and 14 were for the sale and possession of methamphetamine.
