(WVLT) -- Parts of Loudon and Monroe counties are dealing with a power outage this afternoon.
According to TVA, a shortage in the switch yard at about 10:00 this morning in Loudon caused the disruption to about 11,000 customers.
The affected areas include all of downtown Vonore, the industrial park, and Fort Loudon.
The problem was fixed by about 10:30, and some people had their power restored. Crews are now working to restore power to the remaining customers.
