WVLT-TV News wins two award from Tennessee Associated Press
WVLT-TV News received two awards at Saturday evenings 2008 Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters awards.

KNOXVILLE (WVLT) – WVLT-TV News received two awards at Saturday evenings 2008 Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters awards.
Reporter Mike McCarthy received the top award for Best Enterprise Reporting for his story on Sunday church services at the Great Smokies Flea Market in Kodak which aired on July 22, 2007.
Anchor Stacy McCloud and Photojournalist Nate McLaughlin received the top award for Best Short Hard News Story for their piece on the fire that totally destroyed Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church in Knoxville. The story aired on August 23, 2007.
