KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Democratic candidate running for Knox County Sheriff has filed a formal complaint against his running mate and interim sheriff.
Randy Tyree filed his complaint with the Knox County Sheriff's Merit Council Thursday morning.
Tyree alleges that interim Sheriff Jimmy "J.J." Jones violated an ordinance with the use of uniformed and classified employees on Jones'' campaign Web site.
Tyree says, "I would really appreciate them quickly addressing this, because people are voting now. The election is on the seventh."
In response, Sheriff Jones says, "Once again Randy has run out of money and issues...He continues to try and hide the fact that he has a past of mismanaging money. Putting him in charge of a $60 million budget is like putting a fox in a hen house."

Well, if this race is about who can raise more money from black Wednesday developers...then JJ is good. Unfortunately for Kool Aid Jones that didn't help Scoobie or Trammel or any of the other cronies of Hutchison.
