KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a hold-up at the Check World on Clinton Highway Friday morning.

The manl was arrested Friday afternoon, and police say state and federal charges are pending.

Workers say the suspect tied them up with straps before leaving the scene.

Authorities say after he left the store, he drove through a yard and knocked over a generator before crashing in the back of the house and a tree.

He apparently fled on foot toward Gap Road.

The investigation is ongoing, as police look for other possible suspects in robbery.
