NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Carrie Underwood wasn't even born when Elvis Presley died in 1977. Nonetheless, through technological slight-of-hand, Underwood will sing "I'll Be Home for Christmas" with the king himself.
"Elvis Presley Christmas Duets," a new CD out Oct. 14, will also feature Martina McBride, LeAnn Rimes, Gretchen Wilson, Wynonna Judd, Sara Evans, Amy Grant, Anne Murray and others singing with the King of Rock-N-Roll.
Sony BMG is releasing the disc in partnership with Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc. They say it's the late icon's first duets album and the first Christmas compilation of its kind.
Though Presley only recorded 20 Christmas songs, his holiday albums have sold more than 25 million copies in the U.S. alone.
