KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The details of the Central High School shooting in Knoxville developed very quickly.
Here's a look at the timeline starting with the initial report of the shooting.
8:11 a.m. -- Knox County Sheriff's Deputy reports to dispatchers that his daughter told him about shots fired in the cafeteria at Central High School came into police.
8:13 a.m. -- Police arrive on the scene.
8:17 a.m. -- Suspect taken into custody three blocks away from the school.
Approx. 8:45 a.m. -- The victim, Central High School junior Ryan McDonald, 16, arrives at UT Medical Center.
8:57 a.m. -- Police are notified that the victim has died.

Very inappropriate WVLT to run the arrest records and criminal history of the victim's parents in the details of this shooting!! Above anything else tonight, they are grieving parents...this is not the time and place to spotlight their history. Shame on you!!
