Knoxville (WVLT) - It is child health week, and Knoxville's Children's Hospital is kicking things off by offering parents all the information they need to keep their children healthy.
The child health mini fair created a one-stop shop for information about all the free programs and other offerings in Knox County.
Those include the healthy weight program from the Knox County Health Department, a smoke-free program to help parents keep their kids in a healthy environment, and birth to kindergarten, a program offering tips for caring for your very young children.
Joanna Simeone who works in public relations for Children's Hospital says, "There are a lot of families out there worrying about their children's health, here's some additional info they can take home."
Organizers say the fair is a good kickoff to child health week, by offering families everything they need, right at their fingertips.
