KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two men stormed into a Chapman Highway pawn shop in South Knoxville late Monday morning and robbed the store at gunpoint, witnesses told police.
Knoxville Police spokesman Darrell DeBusk says the hold up happened around 11:26 a.m.
DeBusk says the clerk told police that the robbers were two white men.
The first suspect is described as being 5' 7" tall with a stocky build. He has dark hair and was wearing a black hoodie.
The second suspect is described as being 5' 9" tall with a slender build. He has sandy blond hair and was also wearing a black hoodie.
DeBusk says it's possible that the two got away in a silver or blue Chevrolet Corsica.
